Rotadairon® has developed products capable of meeting all the challenges of landscape architecture and landscapers. Our wide range of machines will allow you to find the Rotadairon product you need for your landscaping projects, whether it be large green spaces for a community or a company, or for an individual garden.
As a landscaper, you are responsible for the design, maintenance and improvement of gardens, parks and green spaces.
The landscaper’s work begins with the proper preparation of the soil which will be the basis of the architectural project.
A stone burier allows different actions in a single pass. It is all these processes that will lead the soil to be properly oxygenated. Thus the seedbed will be in the optimum conditions to receive the seeds and constitute the foundation of your crops and your lawn.
A stone burier first performs the tilling of the soil. In addition, the stones, clods of grass and waste are buried. These will have been retained by the selection grid and then buried. On the surface of the soil, only a finely sifted soil remains. The spreading is regular and the soil will be levelled thanks to the final rolling.
ROTADAIRON offers stone buriers for tillers, loaders and tractors of various powers adapted to the work of landscapers. Several criteria can guide your selection: the working width (from 750 mm to 3680 mm), the working depth (from 140 mm to 220 mm) and the power of your carrier. The roller frame can be offset manually or hydraulically.
For the landscaping of gardens and parks with mini-loaders and hydraulic skid steer loaders, choose equipment for landscapers such as the Rotadairon® STH 36 and 42 or the Rotadairon® RDH 52 and 60.
For small and medium power tractors, the following machines are recommended
Rotadairon® Stony 75-90-115 (for micro-tractors from 15 to 25 HP),
the Rotadairon® RD 100-130-145 (for micro-tractors from 22 to 35 HP) and
the Rotadairon® RDL 150-180-200-250 (for tractors from 45 to 90 HP).
Once the soil is prepared with a stone burier, parks and gardens can be sodded.
Rotadairon also designs and manufactures sodders for landscapers. Our products will save precious time during your landscaping projects. Our three seeding technologies (Gravity, Splines, Pneumatic) used by our seeding machines will meet your conditions of use for landscaping:
Gravity seeders: These seeders are particularly adapted for seeding grass in common applications
Spline drills : These drills are recommended for work requiring more precision
Pneumatic seed drills : These seed drills are particularly adapted to applications where one works in great width (>2m)
For seeding small gardens or areas that are difficult to access, the Rotadairon®SEEDCAR is the seeding equipment you need. Its maneuverability will allow you to pass even in the small spaces or at the home where the entrance would not let pass more imposing machines. This manual seeder is designed for seeding all types of grass.
For an improved confort of operation, go for the Rotadairon® e.SEEDCAR !. The Rotadairon® e.SEEDCAR is an electric assisted seeder which will allow you to comfortably turf your land and preserve the environment.
The machine is fitted with a quiet electric motor and its battery has an autonomy of 60-90 min, allowing for about 2500 m² per cycle.
The Rotadairon® SD 700 is a self-mounted seeder designed for precision seeding, seed burial and sealing of the ground. The Rotadairon® SD 700 allows seeding the majority of grass varieties for an impeccable lawn in parks and gardens. Reliable, handy and efficient, it allows you to seed quickly and effortlessly. Its multi-stage operation will ensure quality lawns. The metal roller deployed at the front embosses the soil. Then the seeder deposits the seeds. Then the rotor scratches the soil. Finally, the smooth roller at the rear ideally compacts the soil, allowing good contact between the seeds and the soil in order to promote good germination, and avoids the marking of the user’s steps.
The Rotadairon® SMG 155 and 205 are machines for seeding to be mounted on a tractor. Equipped with gravity seeders, the Rotadairon® SMG 155 and 205 seeding machines have been designed mainly for seeding large areas such as parks or sports fields. Equipped with two cast iron rollers, the Rotadairon® SMG 155 and 205 allow seeding in one pass. They are used on a ground previously worked with a soil preparator / stone burier.
Our Rotadairon® DS 130 and DS 180 machines are dedicated to the dethatching and maintenance of all types of grounds (parks, gardens, sports fields) and will enhance the landscaping. The Rotadairon dethatchers designed for landscapers perform four different operations:
- The dethatching, allows to remove the organic matter (stems, leaves, superficial roots and dead runners), which slows down the permeability and the gas exchanges and generates cryptogamic diseases and the pulling out of the lawn. Our machines contribute to keep a stronger lawn and avoid uprooting.
- Verticutting consists of scarifying the soil, i.e., aerating and reducing the grass clippings that are left on the ground.
- Spiking consists in aerating the soil by perforating it. This operation reinforces the rooting depth and increases water penetration. The watering of gardens and public parks will be more efficient, it will consume less water which is beneficial for the environment.
- The rolling process eliminates air pockets at the roots and allows a better rooting of the young seedlings, ideal for the maintenance of green spaces.
Whatever the nature of your terrain, the Rotadairon® dethatching machine DS 130 and DS 180 have been specially designed to adapt it. Equipped with a single roller at the front, the basic version allows the DS130 and DS180 to dethatch a large flat surface type such as a sports field. For better maintenance and monitoring of the terrain, a second roller (option 1) can be added to the rear, offering a better quality dethatching. For uneven and hilly terrain, the swing kit (option 2) offers perfect flexibility in the operation. The profile of the ground is precisely monitored, allowing a high-quality dethatching on hilly golf courses. Requiring the second roller, the swing kit benefits from increased stability during operation.
Spikers DS dethatchers: 3 possibilities for more flexibility!
Our range of Spikers Dethatchers allows you to carry out dethatching or aeration operations on all your grounds, whatever their nature.
3 variants are available to you to carry out all your work:
- A basic version, with a front roller, allowing dethatching to be carried out on relatively regular ground, on sports grounds for example.
- A version with rear roller, (option 1), offering better ground monitoring.
- A “swing” version, requiring option 1, allowing optimized ground monitoring and optimal thatching on hilly ground.
So whether you want to dethatch a football field, or a golf course or a grassy area, we now have a complete solution to offer to you.
The exclusive system of fixing the knives on the rotor allows a fast change (in 1h30!) and without efforts of the cutting tools. Each knife is placed independently on the rotor, so you can vary their positioning and model. Rotadairon® offers 3 types of knives according to your operating conditions: sharpened, unsharpened, carbide.
- Sharpened knives : in stainless steel for a classic dethatching
- Unsharpened knives : in stainless steel for a more aggressive dethatching
- Carbide knives : in stainless steel with carbide plate for a very aggressive dethatching
To keep your lawn looking its best, the dethatching / scarification operation should be repeated at least twice a year in the spring and in September (in normal temperate climate conditions) or during the active vegetation period.
If you want a healthy and beautiful lawn, choose the Rotadairon® dethatching machine DS 130 or 180. The DS are particularly suitable for dethatching the sports fields and golf courses.
The Rotadairon® RG 140 and 200 allow landscapers to seed in damaged mature turf, as is often the case in public parks and gardens due to foot traffic.
The Rotadairon® RG 140 and RG 200 overseeders allow for intra-slot seeding. The knife rotor creates slots in which the seeds are deposited with the help of coulters.
The furrows are closed, naturally, by the elasticity of the soil and the grass but also thanks to the compaction by the roller with special tires.
The sowing quantity is very precise thanks to the volumetric adjustment of all the cells constituting the rotor of the fluted seeder.
The Rotadairon® ROOG 150.60 is a new generation disc harrow.
This overseeder allows you to carry out your overseeding operations in an optimum way. Each disc/injector unit provides a clean cut and precise seed placement. This unique design allows us to offer you a compact machine with a contained weight allowing the selection of a tractor with less lifting capacity.
The cutting of the furrow is done by sharp discs, arranged on independent blocks which follow the profile of the ground. The injectors deposit the seeds precisely in the furrows. Precision seeding, of the classic English ray-grass mixtures, red fescue… is obtained by adjusting the volume of the spline seeder via the hour dial. The rear roller then closes the furrows.
The mixer can be removed without tools for easy cleaning of the tank.
The working depth and seed rate settings are provided with visual markings (index and clock).
Before overseeding, it is advisable to remove the organic matter (stems, leaves, surface roots, etc.), to aerate the soil and to carry out a short mowing with collection of the waste. This will allow the grass seeded during the overseeding to develop optimally for a green and healthy lawn!
Rotadairon also offers equipment for the mulching activity. The mulcher is an essential machine for landscapers to start a landscaping project on difficult terrain. The mulcher can be used to clear brush, clear a garden or a plot of land, or create a passage in an inaccessible environment. The mulcher also called bramble mulcher allows you to get rid of brush, brambles and any high and dense grass or vegetation to create the desired landscape.
The Rotadairon® BRD 50 mulcher for mini-hydraulic loaders can mulch brambles but also dense grass. Its floating system, patented by Rotadairon, allows to follow perfectly and automatically the unevenness of the ground, it allows a very high work output and an ease of use. The Y-shaped mounting of the knives on shackles contributes to a better mulching.
The Rotadairon® RS 480 stump grinder mounted on the front of the mini-loaders for trimming and planing the stumps. Mechanical intervention avoids the use of chemicals to eliminate stumps. Equipped with a remote control with magnetic base, its unique system enables you to control sweeping speed and adapt it to the type of stumps to be treated. Its adjustable trimming teeth allow them to last longer !
